Mantra'matic, Raina's debut manuscript, has been described as an "ambitious and successful" hybrid poetic memoir that redefines the Bildungsroman genre. The story, which functions as both entertainment and self-help, tells of Raina's second coming of age in her mid-thirties, when she attempts to redirect her life out from the darkness of anxiety into which she was born. Integrating a myriad of personal mantras and therapies, Raina braids a narrative that is simultaneously heartbreaking, humorous, and hopeful.

Concrete Poetry

After WWII, several poets around the world independently, yet simultaneously, created a new form of art: concrete poetry, which (at its most basic level) is a text-based form intended to create a rhythm and musicality in its imagery.
